Permission Comparison

The Permission Comparison report lets you choose two Maytas users or groups and compare their permissions for centres, system modules, tabs, processes and templates.

The report can be found in the Audit folder of the Reports Library.

Parameters

• Compare users or groups - Whether to compare users or groups.

• Show disabled accounts - When set to Yes, disabled accounts will be available to select in the User / group parameters.

• User / group 1 and 2 - These let you choose the two users or groups to compare.

• Areas to show - The permission areas to include on the report.

• Comparison - This has three options:

  • Show all permissions - The default option which shows all permissions for both accounts.

  • Only show permission differences - Only permissions that are different between the two accounts are shown.

  • Only show matching permissions - Only the permissions that match between the two accounts are shown.

Details

The reports lists the permissions for the two accounts, with each permission area in a separate table.

For tabs, processes and templates, only set permissions are displayed - i.e. those where the Is Set column is ticked in the Permissions Editor.

For modules, the effective permission for every licensed module is shown, including default permissions.
